What a Gem

I ordered the soup of the day which was broccoli and Stilton and it came served with a cheese scone and butter. Frankly that is by far the nicest soup I’ve ever had. It was served piping hot and was tasty and well seasoned. The cheese scone was not only incredibly fresh but was sizeable too and plenty of butter served with it. My friend had a Brie and beetroot sandwich which again was delicious (I tried it) served with a nice portion of salad leaves and crisps. The bread was so fresh. The teas are loose leaf tea and were lovely served in traditional China teapots and quaint cups too. It was a delight to find such a wonderful traditional tea room not far from where I live. We will definitely be revisiting and excellent value for money and such a lovely ambience in the tea rooms. The staff were so lovely too really friendly
